Best of 2011, Halfway Through The Year

It is now halfway through 2011 and I think it is best to see the best of film at this halfway point. I will be doing different categories and I will not be giving full thoughts on each one, I’ll be saving that for the end of the year. So lets get started with:

Best Female Performance:

Best Scene:
  1. The Train Crash – Super 8
  2. Moses’ Final Assault – Attack the Block
  3. The Cameo – X-Men: First Class
  4. The Bear Guy – True Grit
  5. Comic Con – Paul
Most Anticipated For The Rest Of The Year (discounting Harry Potter):
  1. The First Avenger: Captain America
  2. The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn
  3. Hugo
  4. Cowboys and Aliens
  5. Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy
Best of 2011 So Far:
  1. True Grit
  2. Senna
  3. Super 8
  4. Source Code
  5. Attack the Block
I feel like going over some trailers soon so in the next few days and weeks, so expect looks at the trailers for War Horse, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn and Hugo plus a few surprises in store, not all of them good, believe me.
