Worst Films of 2010

I haven’t seen that many bad films this year because I have some taste but I did see some stinkers this year. Due to having taste I haven’t seen Twilight: Eclipse, Sex and the City 2, Remember Me, Eat, Pray, Love, Vomit or Fred: The Movie but here are the 4 Worst Films this year (I only saw 4 bad films)

4. The A Team – I do like some scenes in this movie, such as the flying tank (so much fun) but the problem is, I don’t like any of the characters, I want to see them get into those situations so they can die. This film actually should have been a TV movie to set up a brand new A Team TV series, that would be great but it seems like this film will stand alone and not give me any more time to get attached to the characters, that and some of the acting was terrible mainly Quinton Jackson and Jessica Beil but Sharlto Copley was suitably insane as Murdoch. I would like to see another movie to see more absurdity and to grow to actually like the characters.
3. Clash of the Titans – Now the film on it’s own in 2D is okay, the plot is standard, the acting has its goods and bads, good being the performances of Pete Postlethwaite (RIP) and Ralph Fiennes and the bad being Sam Worthington, whoever played Andromeda and Liam Neeson and it does have it’s heart in the right place homaging the original at every chance it gets with a similar character design and even a cameo appearance by Bubo. But in 3D, that’s where the film falls apart, simply put, there is no 3D yet cinemas could charge up to £10 per ticket, this has really been a bad move in the entire film industry and is having a profound effect on the wallets of the moviegoing public, not to Hollywood, we are sick of 3D!!!!!
2. Alice In Wonderland – This film pissed me off because it had so much potential, the cast, especially Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat and Alan Rickman as The Caterpillar, was great, the visuals were incredible and Tim Burton seemed like a perfect fit for the mood of Alice in Wonderland, but the story is where it falls apart. Alice in Wonderland didn’t need an epic battle story and there seemed to be more focus on The Mad Hatter than on Alice and, seeing how Alice is the title character, it really should be the other way round but Mia Wasikowska isn’t really good as Alice, although that is more due to the script than acting ability. Nothing more to say except for so much wasted potential
1. Robin Hood – This is easily the most boring film I have ever seen, the film goes on for way too long and the dialogue is really pretentious but worst of all it doesn’t feel like a Robin Hood movie. Robin only does one act of being an outlaw in the whole film and giving that to the poor, the Sheriff of Nottingham is hardly in the film and the ending looked really rushed just saying Robin Hood was an outlaw for no real reason and out of all the Mark Strong baddie roles, this one was his weakest

Stay tuned for my top 10 performances of 2010 in film
